The Knight Times Edition 7

Welcome to the official blog for the Marian College Knight Times. This is currently Edition 7, the final edition of the 2008-2009 school year.

The last installment of The Knight Times for the 2008-2009 school year is now in your hands. Read on to find out what happens in Dalila Huerta's third installment of Valuing the Liberal Arts Tradition, Kirsten Sordelet’s top ten on how to survive moving home for the summer, and CJ Brown’s ways to prevent the dreaded freshman fifteen.

As my run as editor ends, I would just like to say that it has been my pleasure to work on the Knight Times. I have truly enjoyed being a part of bringing the campus news and I hope that our blog has caused students to truly care about what is going on at Marian.

In my time here, I have discovered that Marian College is an incredible institution, one that is truly dedicated to the wellness of its students. As our college transforms itself into a university, take comfort in knowing that Marian, no matter if it is college or university, will always put you as the student first.

Make sure to fight for what you believe, voice your opinions (in the Knight Times if at all possible =) ) and enjoy your time here. Everyday at Marian is something to celebrate, so make the most of the rest of your career. To all graduating seniors: best of luck in the future, wherever that future may lead you! Best of luck to everyone on finals and have a fantastic summer break!

Happily graduating,
Holly V. Hammond
